Running on Tea and Tiramisu
This is what happens when a Brit and an Italian decide that running long distances is a sensible hobby. We’ve been running for over a year now, powered by the shared belief that pasta counts as training. Somehow along the way we’ve completed 5Ks, 10Ks, and even the Rome Half Marathon - dodging cobblestones, tourists, and the constant temptation to stop for coffee immediately.
Next up: London Marathon 2026 - because clearly we didn’t learn our lesson. As we train, we’ll be running a podcast (sometimes literally), writing blogs, sharing the highs, lows, and mildly unhinged moments on social media, and documenting what happens when British planning meets Italian optimism over 26.2 miles. Most importantly, we’ll be raising money for BookTrust, the UK’s leading children’s reading charity - because we believe that whether it’s stories or marathons, everyone deserves a strong start and a happy ending. And maybe a little desert, too.
